What our teachers tell us about their experience of our school

• I think that I have become a more explicit and more expert teacher since working at St Eugene's.  The staff training we have had shows a clear and explicit way of teaching.  This has now become my classroom practice.
• The coaching model at St Eugene's means that I am being supported to develop my skills all of the time as a teacher, both in subject knowledge but also in pedagogy.  I have never really had training in pedagogy (how to teach) before I came to this school.  The coaching is practical, detailed and helpful.
• It is a wonderful place to work and everyone is pulling together as a team to work with the children's best interests at heart.
• There is a brilliantly positive and welcoming atmosphere at this school.  Everyone who works here from the head to the teaching assistants is passionate about education and really cares about the children.
• The staff are a lovely, supportive group of people to work with.
• I am happy with the lovely children in my class and the support given by the school.  There is always careful thinking about teacher workload and realistic expectations.
• I am happy with how much l am learning and growing as an educator.  I feel I am gaining expertise and experience that will prepare me for a future career in education.
